Full Tank, a water conservation design company based in Melbourne, recently picked up the The City of Melbourne Sustainability Design Award for 2006 for their funky urban illuminated rainwater tank. Lumi, the brainchild of Director Katrina Logan, has an outer casing made from a Plexiglas material which allows the tank to be illuminated at night for striking effect. Even during the day, the coloured Plexiglas and block shape give the tank a presence beyond your old "tin" rainwater tank.A range of standard sizes are available as well as custom designs.
