For many people, a lot of water is wasted when a tap is turned waiting for the hot water to arrive from the hot water heater.
Two products on the market seek to address this situation in very similar ways. The readyhot from dux and the water guardian from ecosmart are both units designed to recycle the cold water that gets stored in hot water pipes, back to the hot water unit.
Simply by pushing a button, the units recycle the cold water in the pipes back to the hot water unit and continue the reticulation until the water warms up and they turn themselves off.
Both units can be installed in new construction or retro fitted into existing houses.
