Quench water recycling shower

In water crisis times such as we live, the enjoyment that used to be associated with a long shower are gone. A product developed in Australia, the Quench shower, only requires 4 litres of water to provide a continuous shower for as long as you like.

The Quench Shower has a built in water recycling system which that can save up to 82% of water usage and 87% of energy in the home.

The shower operates through a two stage process.
  • First is using the shower as you would a normal shower, efficiently washing your body using soap & shampoo takes around 2 minutes and uses around 20 litres of water.
  • The second stage involves closing the drain cover and allowing the reservoir to fill (this uses approximately 4 litres of clean temperature-controlled water). The shower is then turned off and the Auto-Mode activated, which will re-circulate water continuously through the shower for as long as you like. The water is filtered, pressurised and heated to the temperature that is set by the user at the control panel – using only 4 litres of water.

When you are finished, simply open the drain cover, which will empty the reservoir and step out of the shower. Activate the sanitize–rinse cycle and the entire system will be effectively sanitized and rinsed, ready for the next shower.
