Freitag from Switzerland make quite possibly the coolest and greenest messenger bags on the planet. Every bag is individual and unique, having been hand cut and made from recycled truck tarps, trimmed with inner tubes and utilising seatbelts for the handles. The story goes that the two brothers Freitag were living next to a major truck route in Zurich and thought it would be nice to make a a tough and waterproof bag out of the 1000's of truck tarps that drove by.
A few bags for themselves, then for friends, then for a few shops and now the world!
