Zaishu project seats and tables

The Zaishu project is the brainchild of Australian designer Matt Butler (the word Zaishu is derived from the Japanese word ‘zaisu' meaning small seat). Matt works with international artists and designers to create limited edition seat / tables featuring unique and collectable artwork.

A Zaishu is a flat packed, slot together seat/table made from plantation grown plywood, finished with water based inks, paints and varnish. Zaishu environmental credentials also extend to being certified with a ‘Good Environmental Choice’ label.

The Zaishu project is based on the principles of creativity, collaboration, evolution and sustainability.

Zaishus are available online through the Zaishu website for AU$330.00
