3form has recently released a new product bench top and work surface product called 100 percent which is made entirely from recycled HPDE plastics. HPDE (high-density polyethylene) is typically found in bottles requiring good chemical resistance such as containers for household detergents or industrial chemicals.
The bottles are recycled into the chips shown below and then mixed and matched to create the four colour ranges that are available.
Once made into 100 Percent panels, the recycled HDPE has great mechanical and chemical resistance properties. 3forms expected market for the products includes partitions, work surfaces, furniture, lab/research environments, educational environments and outdoor surfaces.
